BUSINESS LICENCES (MISCELLANEOUS REPEALS) ACT, 2015.
Commencement: 1 July, 2015.
An Act to repeal section 9 of the Rivers Act, in order to abolish the requirement for steam vessels on rivers to be licenced; to repeal section 22(2) of the Companies Act, 2012 to abolish the requirement for swearing a statutory declaration for compliance with the requirements for incorporating a company; to repeal sections 3 and 4 of the Hides and Skins (Export Duty) Act, which require the export of hides and skins in a specified manner or from specified places, and which provide for returns to the regional commissioner of customs and excise respectively; to amend section 12 of the Produce Protection Act, to abolish imposing fees; to repeal section 11(2) and (3) of the Fish Act, to abolish the angling licence.

This Act shall come into force on 1st”> July, 2015.
The purpose of this Act is to repeal redundant business licences and to rationalise and simplify business licensing practices and procedures in order to eliminate multiplicity and overlap of business licences.
The enactments specified in column 1 of the Schedule are amended to the extent specified in the corresponding entry in column 2.
